Language is no longer a barrier
Running a business in another country is already hard work: new rules, deadlines, paperwork. If on top of that you have to understand every screen of your management software in a language that is not yours, everything takes twice as long. That is why many business owners depend entirely on someone else to know how their business is doing.
AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude understand and answer in dozens of languages. Connected to your Holded with isaak.pro, you can ask in English, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Polish or whatever language you think in, and get the answer in that same language, with your real data.
What changes and what does not
It is worth being clear about this from the start, to avoid surprises:
- The Holded interface stays in the languages Holded offers. isaak.pro does not translate Holded or change its screens.
- What changes is the conversation: you ask in your language and ChatGPT or Claude answer in your language, reading your Holded data.
- Your invoices, journal entries and documents stay the same, with the data and the language you used to create them for your customers and for the Spanish Tax Agency (Hacienda).
The same question in seven languages
This is how you ask “How many invoices have I issued this month?” in some of the languages of our community. Any of them works the same way:
- English: “How many invoices have I issued this month?”
- Romanian: “Câte facturi am emis luna aceasta?”
- Polish: “Ile faktur wystawiłem w tym miesiącu?”
The same goes for any other question: who owes you money, how much is in the bank or what you have spent the most on. There is a list in 12 questions you can ask your Holded with AI.
Tax terms: better kept in Spanish
Some words are best left untranslated: IVA (Spanish VAT), modelo 303, autónomo, alta en Hacienda, factura rectificativa. They are the ones you will see on your documents and in letters from the tax authorities. A good trick is to ask the assistant to explain things in your language while keeping the Spanish term in brackets. For example:
- “Explain in English how much VAT I charged this quarter, and keep the Spanish tax terms in brackets.”
- “用中文总结我未付款的发票,西班牙语税务术语放在括号里。”
That way you understand what is going on in your own language and, at the same time, you learn the vocabulary you need to talk to your accountant.
How to get started
- Have your company in Holded with a paid licence (the connection uses its API). If you do not use it yet, see What is Holded?.
- Connect your company in isaak.pro: the first one is free, forever.
- Open ChatGPT or Claude, authorise access and write your first question in your language.
If you are a freelancer or run a company in Spain and come from another country, you may also want to read Holded for foreign freelancers and companies in Spain.
Limits worth knowing
AI assistants translate very well, but they are not infallible. If a figure matters, check it in Holded; if an answer has tax consequences, check it with your accountant. And when the assistant prepares something that will be saved in Holded, such as a draft invoice, it always asks you to confirm it first.
isaak.pro helps you look up and understand your information in your language, but it does not replace a professional review when one is needed.
